Advanced Survival

March 2nd, 2012 at 08:15am - March 4th, 2012 at 12:00pm

Bezzle. 319 degrees. Back azimuth. Sighting notch. If these words sound familiar, or if you want them to be, check out Advanced Survival!

Advanced Survival, a two day trip held at Cleveland Memorial Forest, focuses on compass and navigation skills and prepares campers for unexpectedly spending the night in the forest. Campers will get a lot of navigation practice, play games and also learn and expand on skills learned on Survival. Survival is a mandatory prerequisite. Advanced Survival is the second of four mandatory steps to becoming Post student staff. This trip is held twice each school year, once in early February and once in late April or early June.
